It’s almost halfway through March and I’ve been trying out new things with my bullet journal all of this month so I thought I’d share some of them! For us here in Australia, March also marked the end of the summer holiday and the beginning of another semester 🙁 so my schedule has been extra hectic and my bullet journal has really helped a lot already with keeping my on track and on top of things in my first few weeks back at Uni.
I was really inspired by taking some cut-outs from magazines this month and sticking them into my bullet journal. For some of the headers I used watercolour paints with colours that stuck to the theme of the magazine cut-outs because I’ve been super into watercolour typography lately. 🙂
At the start of every semester, I like to do a little overview page that shows each week of the semester and then write down the major assignments that I have due on which weeks. Sometimes when there’s so much going on in your life, it’s hard to just remember at the top of your head which assignments are due when- and in University, no one is really there to remind you when you have an upcoming deadline … Responsibilities!
My monthly journal calendar is nothing new if you’ve read my blog posts before. It’s something I just really love to do because it doesn’t require as much commitment as other daily diary or journals do.
This is my latest weekly spreads and I am really just obsessed with it! It has only been a day into this week but I think I’m going to stick with this weekly spread for the next few weeks to come. I love how everything is so organised and coherent and it truly represents an overview of the entire week. I’ve never done trackers or anything on the weekly spread page so this layout is completely new to me. It works well because usually when I have my trackers on seperate pages, I forget to come back to it to fill it in. It’s also easier to do trackers on a weekly basis rather than having a monthly tracker which can get a little overwhelming.
I’ve been trying to do more morning yoga sessions because I feel like it really helps you to start your day in such a positive and mindful way. So in this weekly spread I’ve incorporated a workout and yoga tracker, a water and sleep log as well as a little food log! 🙂
A little motivational quote is the perfect way to prettify your bullet journal and igrain a couple of words of motivation to get you through the weeks and months. I came across this quote and it really just meant a lot to me.
Thank you for reading guys!
